Magenta Fine Art has been crowned BEST GALLERY IN DEVON by the prestigious Muddy Stiletto Awards!!!
Founded in October 2021, Magenta Fine Art is an independent gallery that local ladies, Nicole & Alix setup together with a vision of bringing a phenomenal collection of contemporary artwork to the shores of North Devon. Their flagship gallery in the Victorian Harbour town of Ilfracombe is where it all started, having since expanded to the neighbouring surf resort and holiday hotspot, Woolacombe.
The extensive portfolio of artworks that stocked include both UK based and international artists. Showcasing innovative and emerging artists as well as best-selling well known names such as Fabian Perez and Mr Brainwash. The genres explore the expansive and ever growing range within the contemporary art industry; from street, to pop-art, seascapes, abstract, figurative and everything in between.
“Be sure to check out our gallery services page for further information about our art consultation, we offer home approvals, private viewings and art visualisations. We’re here to help you in every step of your artwork journey.”
Our Ilfracombe Gallery opens daily greeting visitors from all over the world, many of whom flock to the area to see the controversial ‘Verity’ – Ilfracombe’s very own Damien Hirst sculpture who stands just around the corner on the Quay overlooking boats coming into the harbour. We are over the moon to be a part of this prospering historic town and members of the local community all working together to put North Devon on the cultural map of the South West.
We look forward to welcoming you into this fabulous gallery space, introducing a collection of originals, limited editions and sculpture from the UK’s leading contemporary art scene. Our dedicated and friendly team are ready to assist in finding the artwork that’s meant for you; whether it’s adding the missing piece to a current collection or taking the leap with your first work of art, the colourful team at Magenta will ensure your gallery experience is a fun and memorable one.
Our Woolacombe gallery opened in April 2022. We completely transformed the premises during the refurbishment, creating a chic modern space full of bright areas, ideal for a contemporary gallery, complete with it’s very own private viewing room, giving you peace, quiet and privacy to sit back and relax whilst considering an artwork to take home.
Based in the centre and heart of one of the UK’s favourite holiday resorts, with its 3 mile sandy beach, popular with surfers and families alike. So, when you’ve had your fill of sand castles and sea swimming, why not cool off and pop into our bright new space and view an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional artworks, with displays changing weekly during the peak season, there will always be something exciting and new to discover!

Paige Kelly | Sales Consultant
Paige is an Ilfracombe local, having been fortunate to grow up here by the coast and surrounded by nature, which has influenced and shaped her life.
She has a passion for all types of art which she realised at an early age, often found sketching with pens and pencils. Encouraged by her Nan, a fellow creative who shared all things DIY crafty and creative, to experiment with different styles and techniques. Having progressed over the years Paige is now an avid painter and loves every style of art, abstract and colour being her main influences.
It has always been a lifelong dream to work within the art industry, and she couldn’t imagine any other type of career. Having a broad interest across the arts; music, film and fashion, Paige’s creative versatility has given her a keen eye for detail, current trends and interior design.
“I love learning about new artists, their background and story behind each painting, why they create the art that they do and the tools and processes they use. It enhances my connection to each piece. Art means something totally different to everyone, hearing other people’s reactions to artwork is my favourite thing about working in the gallery.”
