MAGENTA FINE ART

Two stunning seaside locations in Ilfracombe & Woolacombe, Magenta Fine Art is an independent gallery that local ladies Nicole & Alix setup together in October 2021, with a vision of bringing a phenomenal collection of contemporary artwork to the shores of North Devon. Their flagship gallery in the Victorian Harbour town of Ilfracombe is where it all started, having since expanded to the neighbouring surf resort and holiday hotspot, Woolacombe.

Their extensive portfolio of artworks include originals, limited editions and sculpture from both UK and international artists. Showcasing emerging talent alongside best-selling and well known names such as Fabian Perez and Mr Brainwash. The genres they stock explore the expansive and ever growing range within the contemporary art industry; from street art, pop-art, seascapes, abstract, figurative and everything in between.

With prestigious events throughout the year, from award winning artists in attendance unveiling solo shows, to diverse artwork exhibitions and their annual Christmas party thanking loyal clients. Magenta will be sure to exceed your art gallery expectations. Here’s what their clients have to say…

“I use Magenta in Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. Always find the staff welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. I have purchased 2 paintings so far and it’s always a pleasure to receive the amazing service from Magenta. I’ve also been to events they organise when an artist visits the gallery and they are always really well put together and hosted professionally. I highly recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed”

Paige Kelly  |  Sales Consultant

Paige is an Ilfracombe local, having been fortunate to grow up here by the coast and surrounded by nature, which has influenced and shaped her life.

She has a passion for all types of art which she realised at an early age, often found sketching with pens and pencils.  Encouraged by her Nan, a fellow creative who shared all things DIY crafty and creative, to experiment with different styles and techniques. Having progressed over the years Paige is now an avid painter and loves every style of art, abstract and colour being her main influences.

It has always been a lifelong dream to work within the art industry, and she couldn’t imagine any other type of career. Having a broad interest across the arts; music, film and fashion, Paige’s creative versatility has given her a keen eye for detail, current trends and interior design.

“I love learning about new artists, their background and story behind each painting, why they create the art that they do and the tools and processes they use. It enhances my connection to each piece. Art means something totally different to everyone, hearing other people’s reactions to artwork is my favourite thing about working in the gallery.”
