Brushstroke

ARTIST

Millett, Tabitha

A single sweeping circular gesture becomes the focal point of the composition. The dramatic black form captures the energy and immediacy of a physical mark-making process, while the triptych format encourages the viewer to experience the work as both a unified whole and a sequence of interconnected moments. The fractured presentation heightens a sense of movement, as though the brushstroke extends beyond the boundaries of each panel. The central void introduces balance and contemplation, contrasting with the dynamic force of the painted mark.
