$The wind in Wooly this week has the sea looking like a bubbling cauldron, gone are the tranquil calm waters we saw so often over the summer, replaced by turbulent mighty waves churning, rolling and cascading onto the shore. 🌊 These idyllic, moody paintings from Philip Gray are the perfect accompaniment to this wild weather, though these do evoke a much more peaceful presence than the real thing! $💙 🍾 🎉 DOUG HYDE at Magenta Gallery 2025 🥂🎈🧡 Wow what a day!!! Such a fantastic turn out, so many wonderful clients came to see Doug and support the gallery so a massive THANK YOU!!! Big up to the man main Doug himself for creating such inspiring artwork for us all- it was a joy to put the display together, as always you had time for everyone, we thoroughly enjoyed hearing about your art, the process and the meanings behind each piece. Thanks to Mark @northdeonpartycelebrations for the awesome decorations- transforming our gallery into a sunset celebration of colour! Lucy & Stu @no28thecookery for the delicious nibbles- enjoyed by all- evident by the crumbs left on empty plates! The lovely Eva @eva.surf for beautifully capturing the day (more pics coming soon!- watch this space!) Thank you to our wonderful studio team for all your help with stock, orders and getting the artwork to us!
